North Palm Beach

North Palm Beach is an incorporated village in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. North Palm Beach Florida is ranked high among Best Florida Beaches. People come from all over the world to behold this breathtakingly beautiful beach and enjoy all the area’s classy golf resorts, restaurants and attractions. The beautiful sandy beach you can relax on today used to be mangrove swamps and farmlands. The weather is always warm, the sun is always shining and there are lots of leisurely beach activities to enjoy, including some world-class golfing. Palm Beach County boasts many great parks to visit and a lot of delicious dining.

Great activities to try and nearby attractions:
• Take a group tour aboard the Catamaran Maria of Palm Beach and enjoy a relaxing yet fun educational and sightseeing experience while you enjoy refreshments and fresh fruit.
• Like museums? Check out Cuillo Centre for the Arts or Dubois Pioneer Home for an afternoon of learning and art.
•See the park dedicated to the founder of this beautiful beach at John D. MacArthur State Park where there’s another beautiful and peaceful beach, surrounded by lots of untouched beauty.
John D. MacArthur began the development of North Palm Beach and helped make it the attraction it is today.
In 2006, village resident Jack Nicklaus redesigned the town’s golf course and it reopened in late 2006 to rave reviews.
At a time when natural areas along south Florida’s coast are almost nonexistent, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park stands out as an “island in time”.  It preserves the natural heritage of subtropical coastal habitat that once covered southeast Florida.

Nestled on a barrier island, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is the only state park in Palm Beach County.  It is an environmental treasure which has been preserved for present and future generations to discover and experience.

Exploring almost two miles of pristine beach and swimming, snorkeling and fishing in the clear blue waters of the Atlantic are only the beginning of the fun you can have at the Park.

Other amenities include a nature center, gift shop, children’s playground, nature trails, kayak rentals, and picnicking facilities.

You might want to take advantage of the many special events offered in the park throughout the year: children’s programs, guided adventures, recreational skills lessons, MacArthur Under Moonlight concerts, summer day camps, and special holiday celebrations to name just a few.

If you are a beach lover, a very special oasis awaits you at the end of a 1,600-foot boardwalk, which spans the most productive estuarine system in all of Lake Worth Cove.  The Beach spans nearly 2 miles of the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The walk from the parking lot to the beach is a beautiful walk, but if you have kids and “beach stuff” you may opt to take the free tram.
