Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park is one of four Theme Parks in Walt Disney World Resort. It offers behind-the-scenes glimpses of Hollywood-style action with live shows, thrilling attractions, backstage tours and special events.
Hollywood Studios captures he glitz and glamour of the Hollywood Heydays from the 1930s and 1940s. They are captured by the neon, chrome, art deco and modern architecture. The streets and sections of the four areas of the Park blend together like a large, bustling movie set.
You can join in on the action with new attractions like the American Idol Experience. It puts you center stage and under the spotlight where you can feel like a star or come face-to-face with one.
You can participate in parades as part of a rock ‘n’ roll fantasy. There are spectacular attractions based on blockbuster movies and top TV shows.
The park is undergoing a major overhaul to add Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land, plus additional cosmetic and thematic changes around the park. This expansion expected to last at least through Christmas 2018.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Buckle up and prepare to rock out with Aerosmith This high-speed roller coaster is amplified by the driving beat of a special soundtrack recorded by the rock legends themselves. You’ll await in your stretch limousine in a dark alleyway. Once it pulls up an your ready to go, you’ll board and get ready for party time. Rock ‘n Roller Coaster whips around twists and turns, goes upside down twice while loud Aerosmith tracks play in you ear. After this wild and fast ride, your stretch limousine delivers you to the concert destination.
You get to experience new adventures complete with new Star Wars destinations and out-of-this-galaxy characters like C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader. The ride is based on the Star Wars movie series, this was Disney’s first modern simulator ride. Guests ride in a flight simulator modeled after those used for training pilots and astronauts.The ride film is projected in high-definition 3-D and has more than 50 combinations of opening and ending scenes, including clips from The Force Awakens. You could ride Star Tours all day without seeing the same film segment twice. An interactive show, Jedi Training Academy, is staged several times daily to the left of the Star Tours building entrance.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Terror lurks in the crumbling walls of the once-glamorous Hollywood Twer Hotel. Explore the mysteries of what happened one fateful and stormy night, then plunge 13 stories into the thrilling recesses of The Twilight Zone. After you enter the dimly lighted lobby of the deserted Hollywood Tower Hotel, then the dust-covered library, a lightning bolt zaps a TV to life. Rod Serling recounts the story of the hotel’s demise and invites you to enter the Twilight Zone. On to the boiler room, where you board a giant elevator ride. The fifth dimension awaits, where you travel forward past scenes from the popular TV series. Suddenly, the creaking vehicle plunges into a terrifying, 130-foot free fall and then, before you can catch your breath, shoots quickly up, down, up, and down all over again. Disney’s ride engineers have programmed random drop variations into the attraction for a different experience each ride.
Toy Story Mania
Step right up! This interactive, 4D attraction features the loveable cast of characters from the Disney·Pixar Toy Story films. Climb aboard a ride vehicle and play through a gallery of midway-style games designed for a raucous good time.
Fantasmic in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park is a spectacular, 25-minute nightime fireworks and water show performed select nights starring Mickey Mouse and a bevy of delightful Disney Characters and features classic Disney music and songs, laser lights and amazing hydrotechnic effects. Select nights only.
Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show (Permanently Closed)
After a run of more than a decade, the last performance of the show, unlike anything else at Disney World, closed in April 2016.
The show, which showed off the skills of professional stunt drivers to a grandstand audience opened in the spring of 2005. The show’s closure provides more space for the park’s remake, which will include new “Star Wars” and “Toy Story” lands
