St. Augustine is a city in the northeast section of Florida. It is a beautiful old historic city that was founded in 1565. The Spanish explorer, Menendez, arrived in the area on the day known as “The Feast Day of St. Augustine”. Saint Augustine is best explored on foot, roam through the streets of what is commonly referred to as “Old Town” , or you can jump on a trolley and get a narrated tour. St. Augustine is also considered one of the most America’s most haunted cities for it’s long someone turbulent past, so if ghost hunting is something you enjoy. There are ghost tours available.
Yearly, St. Augustine has a Holiday Regatta of Lights when all the ships and boats are decorated with Holiday lights as well as the historic homes in Old Town.
